Once they hit 1psi, they are already exceeding the Normally
Aspirated design of the stock plenum.

Also, if you read the original SAE article that talks about
the Nissan Z32 intake design, they tuned the intake runners
to achieve peak torque at 3600rpm.

I challenge you to find me more then 5 dynos that PEAK at
3600rpm, NA or TT. I was only able to find one. Infact,
Guapo mentioned I look at 1996 Z's, as they do not have the
Variable Timing configuration, and even then, the MAJORITY
of Z's in Stage Stock to Stage 3 peaked at 4500 to 4800 rpm.
The Turbo Car dynos peaked even higher.

Whoops.

Ps, I back engineered the stock intake plenum using the
Helmholtz Design Theorum, and it came in dead perfect. The
pressure wave hit the intake valve just shy of the 4th
bounce. Scientifically, and for NA Applications, this is :perfect:
